Something of what you wrote above is incorrect. You say you 'sent your wife's application' but also 'added her to your application.' Those are different things.

You need to post in the forum that corresponds to your application / PR path - your case is NOT a spousal sponsorship.
When I write " I sent her application " I meant I was trying to add her on my PR application and add on process it's kinda spousal sponsorship process.

Okay. But no, it's not a spousal sponsorship process. The only similarity is there is a spouse.
But it's the same method with spousal sponsorship. Because your spouse needs to get biometric, medical and she needs to send her passport to visa office at the emd of process, same method, same process. But the difference is:
- In " add on process" you don't need to provide a lot of evidences for IRCC
- But in "sponsorship process" you have to provide a lot of evidences for IRCC

The process is actually extremely different. You need to post your questions to the Express Entry section of the forum. This is the wrong place.

I can understand, but it's not express entry. I came to canada, applied for refugee program, became protected person, then applied for pr under protected person program, also i got refugee travel document and I went to Georgia, got married in there, came back to Canada and sent my spouse's application to IRCC for add on process. I needed to update my marital status and add her on my pr application. It's not like an express entry process.

You don't need a consultant to apply. You can apply on your own.

However if you are using a consultant, then yes, that fee sounds pretty normal.

Hi

I need some advice. I made an inland application for my spouse in September 2021. I believe that I submitted more information than I think was necessary. I am a Canadian citizen with approx. 50 years residency. The application was mailed in and it was returned as it did not meet the requirements for processing. They have asked for proof of certain items and I would like to know how to respond to these questions.

- Do I mail the entire package back including the documents included in the original mailing or just a response to the questions asked. Do I mail them back to the original Mississauga processing centre?
- I also have to do a change in address. Since I only have a Temporary application number how do I change it online? I tried using the payment confirmation number but it did not work.

Thanks
Yes....mailed everything back to where you sent it earlier and answer the questions they are asking from you and write a letter that explains the change of address and after send a webform using the temporary file number to them again saying you've changed the address or you print the documents again of all the parts that requires the address and put in the new address instead and remove the old documents bearing the old address and replace those documents with the new address on the new form and all documents and send them back....you can use hours and send them back to avoid delays

Hey I have a question. I applied my PR using the online portal back in October 2021 but due to the missing signature, my file got rejected/returned and had to resubmit my file again in January 2022. Yesterday, I got an email from cic stating my file has been updated. When I logged into my account, the submission date automatically changed to Yesterday’s. Does anybody have any idea what that means? Is it a matter of concern?
Yes, once your file is sent back to you because of an error....when you send it back with the correction....it will be received in order of receipt so it starts from the scratch....You don't go ahead of no one....you begin from where your document was corrected....My wife forgot to sign a document in the month of April of a year and it was returned to her in one month time, in May and she signed sent it back the following day, and they processed it from the day of receipt on the day they received it in May so the April month was a wasted time....She had to start from May because that's when IRCC got the complete document.....Missing signature is an incomplete document sent....

They recieve the passport in order of receipt and that should tell you there are a lot of passport in queue before your husband sent His so you znd your husband should wait, be patient znd follow the protocol....Aren't anybody going ahead of anybody in the queue....Be in your lane and when it gets to your turn, they will stamp in and send it......Ok so, because your husband sent His passport it should be processed ahead of others in the line or in queue? Come on....!!
