Actually, the criminality assessment is already passed.

It is the security that is being stalled and processed by the CSIS.

I heard in PR applications people may get comprehensive security screening which is quite lengthy in time. I am afraid it is my case as well although I have not heard a case of citizenship application gets CSS...

I did an ATIP to the CSIS and was told by them that they do not hold any information about me.

I have changed my name once while being a PR so I was a bit worried that they might have only searched using my new name but not my old name. But more likely it's just being held in the queue.

There was nothing specific relating to MB.

For prep, I read through the book a couple of times immediately before taking the test, which helped. Am also lucky that as a Brit many of things we have to study are already familiar.

I received an email requesting scanned copies of my passport pages from IRCC on March 4, 2022 even though I only had to report one absence. Is that normal? Also, I applied with a passport that expired in December 2019, and I renewed it in June 2021 (I sent a webform to IRCC (informing them the day I had it renewed), would renewing a passport raise any red flags?

I notice that not everybody is asked for passport copies, so I'm a bit worried...

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Nothing to worry, as long as you reported all your absences. It is normal process, not everyone might get the request but many were asked to submit it. No need to worry.

Hi everyone, single applicant from Calgary Alberta. Took the citizenship test on March 5, and it was upgraded to complete on March 8. I have been reading in other forums that after the test invite, some applicants get requests to scan pages of their passport. I am curious if this has been the experience of most May 2021 applicants, especially applicants from the calgary area? Should i realistically expect such respect and how does CIC decide who to ask for passport copies?

Got an email today from Niagara Office to provide scanned copies of passport with translation of stamps. Can somebody please post links of companies that I can reach out to get passport stamps translated?

The officer has also asked me for i-94 records for the US. Has anybody been asked to provide this?

I've sent to RCMP and they confirmed that it was sent and received by IRCC, sent also a case query to IRCC and confirmed receipt.
