The fingerprints were taken in mid December and then the BG check was completed in mid January. Took about 1 month. No other update since Jan 14th.

In my case, it took them about a month. I thought they will get it in a week but didn't happen that way.

I did the same and sent two passports from Islamabad VAC. It was quick. The package is already in transit on way back in 3 days.

My mother received her pre-arrival letter the very same date (Nov 19th) and today she finally received the PPR email. It could be any day now.

You should have filed your taxes at least once. That could be less than a year as well but you will need to show the required income. Is your 2021 income enough according to the minimum required income table? Check the income table below...

I would suggest to submit the passport from within Canada as there is not much time till Feb 1st. Request CIC on how to submit it from within Canada.

Congratulations! More than 5 months for us and no AoR yet. May be we are at the end of the queue. Sent the application in last week of June.
