I am a bit confused here. If all the applications to the CHC Islamabad are submitted via FedEx or TCS then why are they sending requests directly to the applicant on some other postal/courier service. I supposed that all the communications should take place via FedEx/TCS visa-drop-box offices.

@nazia what do you mean by genuine? How they would know at a first look that the documents are not genuine and delay one's case. The delay is because of a heavy load on them or may be some other administrative reasons. Secondly, if some one's documents are not genuine then there is no reason...

yes, you are right. I am waiting till the start of May (Summer) session and in case i did not get any reply then I shall inform the university to deffer my admission to the next term and send me a deffer letter. But I hope that I shall get my permit on time.

@ shoaib In case of CHC Islamabad, it is High Commissioner not ambassador (some times misspelled as embassador). Canada have embassies in some countries instead of high commissions. In case of embassy, the head (highest ranking diplomat) is known as ambassador.

So what are they saying about your case? Their is no logic to delay a case upto four months without giving any reason. They must have to clearly tell you about why are they delaying your case. If it was me, I must email to the ambassador. Anyways, lets hope for the best.

Hi Friends, If any one applied in February/March 2011 and had received a medical call or any other response from CHC Islamabad then please reply and share your timeline.

You are absolutely right and I also expected to receive the medical call in 15 days and that's why I posted this query to confirm if this is the problem with all the applicants or my case is getting delayed. Anyways, I hope that I shall get the medical call in a week and visa/study...

My classes starts 02 May. I have applied on 5th March and its 18th day and I am still waiting for my medical call. Any one applied in March and received a medical or any other call??
