Thanks Ayanna, please how long does it take them to decide the case. Thanks again for your help all the timeit’s hard to say it’s all depends on Vancouver office if they want send to same officer or different
Usually the sending to different officer for second opinion
so that is different from a family doctor.. one would need to have a social worker or be going to a psychologist already for them to give a letter though right..yes like social workers or psychologists
It depends on your doctor - how far they are willing to go for you. Our doctor's letter was very dry because medical professionals in Canada are regulated, as you know, and there is a legal responsibility to everything they write or prescribe. Their letters may even be verified by their lawyers to make sure there is nothing there that may be used against them later. But even that short dry letter helped in our case, among other things.Letters from family members is a good idea..Can a family doctor talk about the mental effects of separation from family??? But did he actually talk about the hardship? Was this something that you would discuss as a patient with the family doctor (possibly as a cause of stress or something?) and then he can write about it? or does he see the relationship between family members and then agree to write it as a favor? Sorry just wondering how it would work with a family doctor, to get a few ideasIt depends on your doctor - how far they are willing to go for you. Family doctor can only talk to facts. So if you have been treated for depression or stress, for example, you can ask doctor's note on that, and you can expand upon this evidence in your cover letter that you need access to the same quality of health care system to continue your treatment. This is just example. But did he actually talk about the hardship? LOL, yes i came in as a student and due to age it was difficult at first to qualify for express entry and when i eventually did, my application got refused. Due to lack of reference letter from my employer, even though i wrote an explanation letter stating the company i worked for no longer exit. i got my manager to write a letter accompanied with his employment letter and i even send pictures of training with company log matching employment letter. The officer just said he can not determine the length of time.So you probably came in as a student.
This country has alot of immigration stories would even make movies out of each story ♀♀
For reconsideration is from three weeks to 12 monthsThanks Ayanna, please how long does it take them to decide the case. Thanks again for your help all the time
The size of the file has no impact on processing times.Hi friends ! May I know plzs if the size of the file can have an impact on the processing time ? If someone has a smaller file can he get his decision earlier for example ?
I don’t think so like I said, before your application goes into process they’ve already made a 1st stage decision which can be revoke or delayed as long as they’ve not send you an approval or refusal email.Hi friends ! My file is also large. When I checked the online service, it says that my application is in process since January this year. Based on your explanation @wello711 it means they already make the decision,so what they are waiting for thenI don’t think so like I said, before your application goes into process they’ve already made a 1st stage decision which can be revoke or delayed as long as they’ve not send you an approval or refusal email.
Revoke or delayed could be having criminal records, Change of decision by supervisor, withdrawn or other inadmissibility, Or positive changes in your arguments while it’s still in first stage process.
That’s why it’s good to update Ircc about any positive changes by ircc web
