Does anyone know how if one has to fill absence from canada before becoming PR for the 5 yeareligibility period..or is it after becoming PR we have to mention those absence dates in the Physical presence calculator?

They don't really explain what is the exact issue. Maybe your time as a visitor is not showing in their record as they state? That's all that I can figure out from this. If that's the case then it might not help in resending your application. It might just then be wise to wait until 3 years of PR are complete and then you apply for citizenship.

That's all that I can think of at the moment.

I think if you fill out the physical presence calculator on their website it will only consider the days from the time of your entry so you don't need to fill out the days before your entry separately. I will be doing mine in a few days from now but when i last checked it asked me all the questions for my eligibility period and filled out the calculator for the whole 5 years.

During registration process of virtual oath ceremony, we will need to show 2 ID's for everyone in the family. Just wondering what are the eligible IDs for the minor who is 10 years old.

Can I just show them Indian passport and Ontario Health card (doesn't have photo) for my child? Or do we need to request his school for the school record?

She had given IELTS general in 2017 however, as she came on Spousal Dependent, this IELTS certificate was not used for PR Process. Can we still use it for Citizenship application or no?

I found this: Can I submit the results from a third-party language test that I took when I first applied to immigrate to Canada as proof I meet the citizenship language requirement? (cic.gc.ca) Yes. You may send the same third-party language test results from your immigration application with your application for citizenship. There is no expiration date for third-party language test results for citizenship applicants.

Based on the above, I believe she can use the 2017 IELTS certificate even if she didn't use it for PR, as it says that there is no expiration date for IELTS scores for citizenship applications. It doesn't matter if it was previously submitted or not.

In my case, I filed the tax for the year 2018. lived in Canada for around 4 months and 20 days and I did not earn in Canada in the year 2018 but since I filed the tax so I have the NOA for 2018). Does that count towards the above mentioned requirement for the citizenship application? Will the NOA for 2018 will be accepted along with the NOA for 2019 and 2020?

2. Q12 (b): Tell us when you filed your income taxes in the last five (5) years using the chart below.
* Enter the tax year and indicate:
* If you were required to file for the particular year AND
* If you actually filed the taxes

The above question is from the citizenship application, what does this part mean "If you were required to file for the particular year" ? In my case, for the year 2018 what should be entered?

1. Yes.

"If you were required to file for the particular year..." is in place because some people don't file taxes when they don't have to. In your case, you filed the tax even when you didn't have to so that's fine.

You can use the 2018 return along with 2019 and 2020 for your citizenship application.

I have some questions related to the citizenship application.

1. I worked through my incorporation for 3 weeks in 2017. In the address, should I put the address of the corporation at that time or the latest one? The corporation is still active, but I never worked more than those 3 weeks. Or shall I write a LOE stating that the current address is this, but in the form has the corporation address of 2017, which was my home address at that time?

2. In 2018, my employer was a staffing agency. I used to work at the client's location, but my reporting was to the staffing agency's Toronto office. What address should I put? Or shall I put my employer's address in the form or provide a LOE stating that I used to work at client's location.

3. Do I need to put weekends like Saturday and Sunday as unemployed during job switching? Form is in MM-YYYY and doesn't ask for specific dates.
