I didn't this wasn't just an Indian thing. That's how all of us did it here.
Another was learning the multiplication table.
Instead of saying 2 times 2 is 4, we used to say 2 <pause> 2 "xa" 4 for some reason.
We called it "xa" instead of times for the cross symbol

The person in my flight in the front row got dead of heart attack.
Similarly a lot of things happened.

Jesus. Something similar happened to me during the delta wave in India. Saw someone die right in front of me.
I wasn't related to that person but the images are still etched in my mind. The sound of someone helplessly crying over a dead body is the worst sound I have ever heard.
All I can say it will take time to get over it.

SIRET, Romania, Feb 28 (Reuters) - The European Union is preparing to grant Ukrainians who flee the war the right to stay and work in the 27-nation bloc for up to three years, senior European officials said on Monday, adding that EU border states would get help to cope with the arrivals.
At least 400,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered the EU so far, EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson said. EU members Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary have land borders with Ukraine.
"We have to prepare for millions (to arrive in the EU)," Johansson told a news conference after a visit to a border crossing between Romania and Ukraine.
Johansson said she was hoping EU interior ministers would agree as early as Thursday on a protection scheme for those fleeing Ukraine.

I also read that most people intend to go home once war is over. I find it strange but quite understandable at the same time.
