Where do you see the information that the file is in Ceremony ready shelf? I have got my GCMS notes. But, it doesn't gives me information that its ready for Oath. but it says everything else is completed.
There's a note which refers to the location of my paper file.

Mine says - Pre SFA Crim expired no FP. I don't understand what SFA means..

i had a ghost update on new tracker yesterday. I checked ECAS which was in DM until yesterday went back into IN Process. This morning ECAS went into DM and no new update on the new tracker. What was this? some officer looking into the file?

Based on what I inferred from the ATIP notes, my background and prohibitions had expired even though they were the first ones to be completed. My physical presence was updated on Jan 6, 2022. On the same day, a criminality check was run again, which was updated, even though the tracker does not indicate that check. It still show the previous date when prohibitions and background check were completed. Now I'm convinced that the ghost update is the background and/or prohibitions which are checked again but not really reflected on the tracker. This 'new' check likely gets done on the same day and does not take time, which would explain your ECAS DM to In Process to DM within 24 hours.

Anyway, none of this forensic analysis actually helps in speeding up the oath. Just a feel good factor that things look ok and patience continues to be a virtue.

Hey Mississauga Applicants, any movement over the last week on pending files?

Today is the second anniversary of my test / interview. On Feb 28, 2020 I wrote the test. A short while later, I was called for the interview and told that I scored 20/20. I can't believe, two years later, I'm still not a citizen; waiting for the elusive oath. So much has changed in the last 24 months, yet nothing has changed.

Cheers! I'll raise a toast to IRCC today and hope this will be my lucky day/week/month/year :)

Received the certificates today (Spouse & Kid).
IRCC replied to our email that they were mailed on Feb-22, that came out to be true based on the stamp date on the envelope.
The oath was on Feb-9, Mississauga office

Sorry to hear this.

Did you try contacting the MP office? If yes, what action/response you got?

I did. My first few two mails were ignored, last year. I got lucky on the third try. They got back after two weeks saying all is ok. Covid delays, your oath should come in a couple of months & that they don't have any influence over IRCC.

Hi all,

@akbardxb I think we should contact CTV news, every time peoples reach out to them, they get their applications approved in mater of days. If we all contact them at the same time it might trigger something!

Regards

@bluesami was a 2018 applicant. They sent a demand letter through a lawyer and their application was finalized within days. Sending a demand letter through a lawyer might be expensive but it might be the only option in some cases considering IRCC has no deadlines.

Hope it works out for you soon. Good luck.

@bluesami what is the lawyer fee to contact IRCC?
