+ the fact that there is more nuance here than the easy explanation of 'uncalled for aggression' and 'big bad putin'. Everything from the Minsk agreement and failure to abide by the non-expansion of NATO, the treatment of poroshenko's regime, attempted sabotage of the NordStream pipeline and western interference in Crimea. It's not as black and white as putin = bad, everyone else = good.
