Yes it is based on best interest if child.Hi,
Is your application based on best interest of child???
Hi,
Is your application based on best interest of child???
Yes
disagree with youUS citizens who get PPRA? Other than the death penalty am genuinely curious on what basis?
see this is the problem those people don’t understand that we already have experience with PRRAI think there is a confusion of terms here. When we advise @BigTony to request PRRA, the suggestion is simply to *apply* for PRRA, that is - fill the application forms and by doing so automatically defer his deportation, since it will take 6-12 months to get refusal letter. Until then, he cannot be deported. Many of us have used this "loophole" to buy time until our HCs have been decided. I don't think anybody here is reasonably expecting that he will get his PRRA approved at the end and become a protected person in Canada. We heard from limited evidence that PRRA approval rate has never exceeded 5% even in best years.
No country is disqualified from *applying*.
yes you correct only cbsa or minister can offerQuestion
Can you apply for PRRA without a notice from CBSA than you can apply to do so while your deportation is take in place after refusal of application that caused lose of status ?
I read in IRCC website you can only apply for PRRA once CBSA notified you to apply for it. Guys please share some thoughts about it.
Thank u
yes some people got AIp but they are not in this platformHi everyone,
Anyone received AIP recently?
Seems it's been stopped processing applications!!!
Thanks,
no you need pcc for H&c when she get her Aip then you have submitted background check form everything country been in last 10 yearsFor h&c dont you need PCC since the age of 18? That is what I saw on the checklist?I am looking at pccs from 1980s for my mum and those are taking the longest to get and will delay my submission...can anyone confirm if it is just for the past 10 years or since qpplicant was 18? Thanks
simple question ask you for your passport birth certificate your address phone number close friends and family center they will put you reporting systemHi, I submitted my H&C application in November and received AOR in January. Now I received a letter two days ago for CBSA interview.
My refugee claim was denied in September 21 and I filed for H & C as we have a child.
My question is what questions will they ask me at this interview and will they deport us? Our application is only 4 months old for H& C so how do we buy time?
This is what it says on the website:no you need pcc for H&c when she get her Aip then you have submitted background check form everything country been in last 10 years
Ok I answer your Pm@Ayanna could you please check the personal message reply I had sent earlier.. thankyou..
I am starting to get into the ifs and buts of the whole process...trying to figure out how all to buy time for mum to remain in the country after we apply for H&C...
So we apply while she has status... extend it and therefore remain in implied status.
Assuming it gets refused, can she apply for restoration of status?
Assuming this also gets refused, then she remains "out of status " in Canada...
In that case, can/should she apply for PRRA immediately, or wait for CBSA to contact us?
And after all this, assuming we have a negative H&C reply, then we re-apply either awaiting the result of the existing PRRA or apply for PRRA same time incase we didnt do it before?
Is that how it works?
Ofcourse I am planning for a positive response but I would like like to all know all the options available incase everything becomes negative at any point.
See when you applying for HNC there is a lot of risk coming with it you gotta know that if your application ended up to south or north you have to be prepared for it@Ayanna could you please check the personal message reply I had sent earlier.. thankyou..

no you don’t only 10 years passedThis is what it says on the website:
"If you and your family members are 18 years of age and older and aren’t permanent residents or Canadian citizens, you must provide a valid police certificate for any country other than Canada in which you spent 6 or more months in a row since the age of 18."
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5291-humanitarian-compassionate-considerations.html
So doesn't that mean I need to go through PCCs from 40 years ago?
Thankyou..yes i was just trying to figure out all the ifs and buts, because at the moment this is our only option and last resort..there is nowhere left for her to go anymore.See when you applying for HNC there is a lot of risk coming with it you gotta know that if your application ended up to south or north you have to be prepared for it
i’m not gonna say like you application get approve hundred percent because it’s all dependent officer and who will assess your application maybe he’s a good person compassion or maybe he think you’re eligible for different programs so you’re trying to go easy way out If this is your last resort apply for it if not don’t waste your time
about CBSA and PRRA those one are far a away
Proceed step-by-step
