Hi, Recently I applied for permanent resident for my spouse and dependent children. In my EE profile, I can see application status as "requested by medicals" but I dont see any email or message or PDF for medicals.

It has been 30 days now and still I did not receive any mail. Contacted IRCC multiple times but no good response.

This is confusing. Did anyone faced this and please advice me.

Post your question in the EE section of the forum. Family class sponsorship is for PR or citizen of Canada to sponsor their families.

Hi all,

I have already given biometrics when I applied for my spouse's TRV Visa. Now I have received another BIL from CIC for PR application.
Do I need to give the biometrics again or can I ignore the second one ?
Whats the Application number for the Spouse PR starts with usually mine starts with an F. is it normal ?
Is it ok if I link the application to sponsor's cic account instead of creating a new one for primary applicant ?

We were finally able to log into the new tracker, at the bottom of the overview page, it has a box labled "Summary of documents status". In this box it says...

This is a summary of the status for immigration medical exam (IME) results and Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) documents.

Applicant
IME results expiry date
COPR expiry date

[APPLICANT NAME]
Sep 8, 2022
Aug 21, 2030

There is a link we can click, which shows this...

Confirmation of Permanent Residency (COPR) details
When you’re approved for permanent residence in Canada, you'll get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence document. Below are details about this document.

Find out more about COPR

Document number:
[redacted]
Expiry date:
Aug 21, 2030
Travel document number:
[redacted]
Issuing country:
Not available yet

Does everyone have this, or does this mean that we have been approved? Last thing we got was pre-arrival services on Jan 28.

My little concern with Frazer on this is, at the moment, we have 548,195(Pending Permanent Resident Applications), 775,741(Temporary Resident applications also in queue) and 468,000(Citizenship Applications pending) and the total = 1,791,936 which is the 1.8 million backlogs....!! Already, we are not done solving this problems yet and we still want to bring 1,300,000 new immigrants to the country....I think you solve the problems ahead first before bringing in more problems. I guess IRCC file processing machines and softwares will be tired....Planning is crucial here because if we fail to plan, we have consciously planned to fail the system....

Does the instruction packet say anywhere that you need to provide proof of past employment?

Read the instructions first. Because 'some people' may be applying under different application types or be referring to different situations.
Yes, thank you , I ll definitely read. So I shall not send all the work history docs, if you can please provide a hint. I am only sponsoring my spouse
