Nice, for us we just got a proper UCI number assigned and we are waiting :) I've booked medicals for 8th of March because of the clinic re-construction we could not get an earlier date, and other clinics did not have available panel physicians :/

That sounds like you passed R10. AFAIK you're assigned a proper UCI only after passing R10, so congratz mate

I am hopping that R10 is passed :) I know that I have tripled checked everything with my other half but still I am worrying that something will be bad. I am just hopping that in this case they will just request a new doc. There is also a good news. My partner was invited to an online job meeting with health care employers and she was asked to forward over her CV and cover letter as she got some interest from the employers so maybe they will apply for a work permit but with current waiting times I guess we will get PR faster than Work Permit haha

You won't even need to worry about how long it'll take you to get PR if you can get a work permit first mate. You can just move to Canada and start building your life there. That's really good news. Besides, looks like she'll get a job pretty soon and that's very lucky because as you know job search for fresh immigrants in Canada can be a hassle and looks like she'll have a head start on that. Congratz

Yes, I know. I think some job types are just more lucky than the rest because of the demand etc.
