pnp express entry - waiting to confirm the nomination by CIC

Hi everyone. Thanks in advance for your reply.

I received my PNP Express entry certificate from the province. Just wondering how long (normally) do I wait for CIC to send me the message (through EE portal) to accept that nomination? I have been waiting for 20 days now.

Do you mean, you have already received the nomination and accepted it resulting in addition of 600 additional pts?

I have received the nomination. And the immigration officer from the province told me they already send my nomination to CIC. My understanding is that CIC will send me a message through EE portal asking if I want to accept or not, right? I have not received that message yet and that 600 points has not been added to me.

just wonder if I have missed anything or not...been 20 days now. Wondering if someone having the experience can tell me if the waiting time is normal. Cuz to me, it could be straight forward and faster.. Thank you!

You are correct that is what happens. Did you receive your nomination certificate by email already?

If yes see if there is a place to upload it in your express entry profile.

I believe you're getting confused!

You might have received the nomination consideration (invitation/interest letter) from the respective province you're talking about. You only receive the actual nomination certificate, once you apply to that province. If your application is well organized and meet the provincial requirements then only you are nominated.

Thanks for you reply. Yes I received it from the provincial immigration officer by Email. I tried to upload it in my express entry profile but couldn't because when I create my ee profile I choose "no" for the question "did you receive PNP certificate" cuz at that time I did not have any nomination. I can't change that answer to "yes" now. the system wont allow me....

Thanks for everyone that has comments on this issue. Sent an email to the provincial nomination officer and got that msg from IRCC today. The officer might have missed something from her part

Good to see. You might have received additional 600 scores along with the e-nomination in the profile. Good luck for the ITA.

Yes. That happen immediately. you get 600 right after you accept the provincial nomination in your ee profile. Thank you! same to you (if you have not got it)
