I supposed yes, because if you have applied for a work permit based on a new job (out of Canada) then definitely your application number and visa number will be different and you are going to be immigrated based on your work permit based visa rather than visit visa based TRV

You bet. That means the whole process is going to take much longer time then.

Why is then? I don't agree! Many steps such as Background check has been done! It could take a while but not longer than normal!

When I say whole process I mean receiving passport with work visa back from them.
