When I applied it was only 6 weeks for my country, now it is 11 weeks! So, if they processed my application regarding the time of submitting applications I should have received my approval last week.

It doesn't matter when you applied! They are historically update their website and It says 80% of applications during last two month are finalized in 45 weeks.

Really before they approve meaning my contract with the company in Canada will have expire by then.because that going to take a long time

I think the best thing to do is just to forget about the visa because the time is too much to wait now is 7 month add another month to seven is much

That is the main problem. How do you except the ircc to give you a working permit when your employer doesn t want to talk to you. You should make sure that they are still willing to employ you. If it is ok with your company, ircc will give you a work permit.

The work permit processing time for my country is 11 weeks and my application has also passed this time last monday 24th January 2022. We have common problem.

Your application will be approved after 45 weeks which are processing times for your country. Wait and it will be approved. Is it a postdoc work permit application?

It is a Visiting Professor offer. NOC 4011. LMIA Exempt.
