my approach to cic is submit a question and forget you did cause they take long...

i have sometimes got the you have submitted email the next day


give them 24 hrs, if not then call on monday ( since its the weekend) and the agent can tell if they got any query or not

I did not get any generic email yet. Should i get that generic email right away?

I just took the picture that shows that "your inquiry has been successfully submitted" but there is no enquiry number to follow u or I did not get any email either. Let me know if I should call them to ask if they got it or not ?

I already made account on that new portal as well thanks
Give them at least a day to answer. What i experienced with mine was they usually send out generic emails around 4pm.

Did anyone already receive updates with their medical? I sent mine via webform last December 15 and til now there are no updates yet.

with webforms you get a generic email that yes you have sent email

they will reply in 14 days even longer due to covid acknowledging that you have sent them something or asked them something

its a wait game

try the new tracker system as well you need to sign up in it, it may or may not work, use both PA information and Sponsor information in turns,

if it doesn't work don't be surprised as well as its a hit or miss

key thing is to wait

I just tried this new tracker and it had wrong info for my address. ARGH. had to submit webform to tell them to fix it. i double checked all our documents i sent we even used a consultant and my address is Canada, but they have a USA address for me! it also shows that the application has not been checked for complete and no background check has started. the OLD site says different, but i can never get into the old website as constant errors.

anyone had this with the new site? wrong info on there?

some places are taking a while for medical, ours the lab blood tests were delayed due to all the covid testing hapening. it finally updated a couple weeks later to received then a few more days listed as passed.

that’s the same as mine. All of my mails from IRCC (visitor records, PR application) have my Canada address but the one in the status tracker is my Philippine address. So maybe they’re using our former addresses in the status tracker. I did send them a message via webform to change my information.

husband just reminded me i applied for our daughters citizenship from USA so maybe it defaulted to that old address. ecas gckey still shows more updated info with processing. maybe it will sync in a day or two.

GCKEY Login said months ago background check was in progress. the new status tracker just updated on the 5th saying its in progress now. each login site tells me something different.

Dont they check the application right away for completeness? to make sure nothing is missing and you paid the correct fees? one says in progress, the other says eligibility check not started. I'm so confused by each site saying something different :(
