The oath ceremony is usually on zoom but interviews are done on Teams.

Finally! 7 months after decision made, oath ceremony has been scheduled on Feb 24th. January 2020 applicant.

My MP had contacted IRCC two weeks back. Oath update came in 2 weeks.

It seems like IRCC will not process your application fast unless you reach out to an MP or the person in charge of immigration/citizenship. I had to reached out to both Waterloo MP and the IRCC head office in order for them to take my application seriously.

I have also received an invitation for citizenship ceremony on February 21st. However, February 21 is FAMILY day, and holiday. For me the date is very OK , but are they aware of this holiday? or the computer has just selected a date and emailed us? Should we double check it with them? I am a bit concerned...
BTW, my timeline:
Application sent: June 17, 2020 (I and my wife; Waterloo)
AOR: Nov. 23, 2020
Background completed: July 19, 2021
Test invitation; Nov. 18, 2021
Test completed: December 10, 2021
Every item got completed (except for ceremony): December 31, 2021
Received invitation for oath: Feb. 2, 2022
Oath scheduled for : February 21, 2022

Not yet. I guess they send the email around 7 to 10 days before the date of the oath.
AGAIN: my main concern is the date of the oath ceremony...it is so weird that they want to work on February 21 (Family day....official holiday!!!!!).

No Need to worry about it. Family day is not Federally Established Holiday so all federal workers including post office workers work on this day.
