Hi! New to this thread. Is there a spreadsheet with timelines?
I applied for my parents visitor visa in the new portal on January 17th. They already had biometric done.
Nothing has progressed and eligibility review hasn't started.
I thought on the new portal they respond within 30 days?

it is all dependent on luck. They are not honoring that word on timelines since the last 3 months now

People get visas in 4-5 days while some are waiting more than 90 days. All the best

Folks who are awaiting a decision on your Visitor Visa Application - What does Criminality Passed mean? Is that any indicator of getting a decision over a couple of more days? Please share any insights you have

Hello All - Happy to share that my parents got PPR 3 days ago. Day before they got the PPR I raised a webform enquiring on the status of their application and why there was soo much of delay in processing their application. May be that helped. Below is my parents visitor visa timeline:

- Applied through GC key: August'2020 (that's right in 2020)
- Biometrics completed: August 10, 2021
- Re-applied through new IRCC portal: October 22,2021 (Status showing Background check in progress since then)
- Webform raised: January 29th 2022
- PPR: January 30th 2022

There is no way to ascertain. Popular opinion is that it is in New delhi if applied from India for a visitor visa. Internally it could be one of the 3 visa offices

It means that background check is complete. Next step is eligibility.

it seems like I don't have enough luck in visitor visa, all three applications are just hanging there.

hehe! Can't do much with such a sloppy pipeline. MP office said only Criminality in process. eligibility not started, no ETA. I raised webforms but didn't get an email confirmation.

How do you ask mp office ? Call them or email?
