Ah but that's different. Your country adheres to the rules and policies coming from Brussels. You should read a book by the ex Greek finance minister called Adults in the Room by Yanis Varoufakis. He summarizes the economic collapse of Greece quite well and how ruthless the EU is.

And in summation, you guys only reinforce the notion that the worst people in the world are the ones waiting for their Canadian immigration process to be completed lol.

Hopefully you'll be better people when the process is done.
I swear!! The amount of hate between people who have no idea about each other is crazy! But it makes for an entertaining read

Mr. Expert, that's what they have been saying for last 10 years.
Could be but this is different and it's all due to covid. The massive printing of money has caused a problem for economies worldwide. Look no further than this crypo/NFT/meme stock craze in the west where a fucking digital picture goes for millions.

And remember, in the long term, prices have to go up. The problem now though is that the rate of increase is severely unsustainable. You really think this Canada truckers protest is just for the vaccine?

You guys are both right

IRCC released this. I'll believe it when I see it but there may be some progress on the backlogs this quarter

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...c-recovery-and-improve-client-experience.html

IRCC made over half a million decisions on permanent resident applications in 2021. We are further increasing processing capacity and plan to make 147,000 permanent residence final decisions in the first quarter of 2022—doubling what was done in the same period last year

Wait what year is this from?! There is no way Indiana is more expensive than Michigan. 40 grand a year in Michigan will get you one of those 1$ homes Detroit used to sell lol. Or some upper peninsula home in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah for the last 10 years interest rates were at historical low
I will give you one piece of advice... don't compare anything to do with metrics or numbers between Canada and the USA, you will just be depressed
Us companies actively hire Canadians for remote jobs, so it is possible to get the best of both worlds in tech
