Hi Guys - Could you please let me know what does this mean - "The PR card has been sent to our Card Production Centre, after the card processing we will delivery to your address". Does this mean that the Photo and Address which I uploaded into the Portal are already been approved in the back end and it is just waiting for printing and mailing to my Canada mail address ? Thanks much in advance for your kind clarification !!

This question is about initial PR Card after eCOPR,

Received COPR - 31-July-2021
PR Card - Still Waiting ( 6+ months).

* Understanding is that the PR application started on the day we received eCOPR, in this case 31-July-21, but
* I was able to call IRCC and able to get the Application number for the PR Cards and I have attached that to the IRCC our application portal and in that.
This Application says that the Application started on 13-Jan-2022. so I am now confused.

My PR Card initiated the day i received copr, or what I really see on the online application?

Yes, that is correct, I uploaded the photos also on the online Portal on same day - 31-July-2021.

But I uploaded the photos taken from mobile, due to Covid during that time, i just did that way, I;m thinking, is that the reason? but never heard back from IRCC on that !!

I also did with my mobile using the passport app.

May be worth reaching to your local MP if you are in Canada.

I just called them, they took my details and they said they will call IRCC and check, that is what he said, they may not be able to expediate the processing timeline

Has someone stuck due to photos quality? Has some got any request from IRCC regarding photos?


When sending the photos again,
how usually the photos are being sent to IRCC and how much time usually it will then IRCC will take to send the PR Cards to home

Do anyone knows, if IRCC is asking for new photos, how they will ask us to send it?

Is it long process where we have to send by mail or we have to upload it.
also do we have to fillout any big forms?

I applied for the PR for my family and I inside Canada as protected persons. We received our COPR last year December. This evening I found only my PR card in my mail box and the my other dependants (wife and son) was not sent. Has anyone experienced this situation? What do you advice I do? I am really worried.

It's normal. The cards are mailed separately.

Processing time for PR card is about 88days. I received mine last Friday and I’m still waiting for my dependants cards.
