but how do you know ?
I’ve received the official AOR yesterday afternoon that’s why I’m telling you it’s coming
Goodluck to us. its almost 2 months passed Since my AOR but no SA yet. mine is paper application.
The application was submitted in August 17 2021 online Outland spousal sponsorship
I have received my AOR1 on Dec 24, 2021, but still haven't received any update so far, not even the SA email. IRCC even inadvertently sent my personal info to someone else back in November 2021 but didn't notice it until a few days before they sent me the AOR1. What is taking them so long to get back to me!
Same here, i got aor on 25th Nov, nothing since then and its been 2 months today. Please share your timeline?

no updates at all after that, I have linked application on GCKEY but there is no updates at all

Application returned Sep 20(incomplete PA supposed to sign IMM0008, we just printed her name on it, but never received the file back, IRCC doesn't know where it is and Canada Post said they can't track as it was sent by regular mail by IRCC)
no updates from IRCC for 130 days, I called IRCC bunch of time and they always said their fav line "wait for the update", so called again today and this agent finally helped me, she took my UCI # and other info, was able read the notes left from Sep 20"FILE RETURNED", funny story- I never received the file back and was not told to wait instead by previous agents I spoke,. SO here I am today after 4 and half months starting from ZERO.
Moral of the story, I will advise all those people who are waiting for AOR, you can push the IRCC agent for an update, as per my local MP, went IRCC receive a file and if file is complete, they will issue a Temp case #(only for internal purpose) and with sponsor UCI they can track the file and can provide the info.

we all know the system is flawed but by looking at the tracker I find that a good number of sept applications seems on track and a trend can be noticed where the AOR ,SA etc are based on the application received date. where as in few cases like mine there is no updates after 2 months of AOR. Is it that such delays are because of the efficiency of the visa officer handing the application or something else..what could be the possible reasons..
There is some randomness. But reasons for delay might be or can include: some problem or mistake in app and and it being returned; sponsor social assistance checks; sponsor residency issues (for PR sponsors who were or are outside Canada); and others. Not also some apps might jist take longer because physically larger and more complex. The initial reviews of the files are not extensive but still might need specific staff.
Oh, and since aor usually means sending file to field office, any uncertainty or changes for sending to offices with backlogs or COVID closures might mean them sitting on it for a bit while that question resolved.
I'm curious, how did you get through to call them? I can get through the phone to the Delhi Consulate / Immigration where they track my passport, but I can never get through to IRCC in Canada. They just say that they will only take a call if we need to submit new information, for everything else, the robot lady just says her speech and then ends the call.
