November 2021 - Citizenship applications

Please share the process and URL to track the citizenship application? When I tried to link the application in ecas (https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/mycic/home) it does not show me the "Grant of citizenship" category.
Can I track all family member applications in one place or do I need to create separate accounts for each one of them?

Received emails (Regular Inbox) from below email with an attachment saying it is an acknowledgement of receipt (AOR)

Received two separate emails to my email one for me and other for my son.
My wife received her email separately to her mail account (All as mentioned in application)
We all have separate Application numbers but we have same Group numbers.

Seems like I have to wait for a day or two to check the tracker or create accounts as many mentioned earlier (it doesn't work now).

Hi All,

Hope your application is processing good. I just have a quick question. Me and my wife are eligible for citizenship. I know currently for family application IRCC is accepting only paper applications.

However some people are also suggesting that we can apply online with two applications i.e. one online application for me and a different online application for my wife.

I would like to know if someone has actually done this? ( filing two separate online applications instead of one paper application)

Paper apps are getting AOR faster now. Also you will get the benefits of the apps get grouped into one to process together. What's your reasoning to apply online separately?

Thank you so much for replying. I just started looking at the online application first so thought of applying that way as it seemed quite a simple process. However I also looked at the paper based application and seems the form is similar to what it is to apply online. Its just the difference of printing stuff rather than uploading that's the major difference. Good to know that paper applications are getting AOR faster. I am looking at the paper application route too.

Just received the AOR for my and my son's application, my wife didn't receinve hers even though all applications were in the same enveloppe.
Did this happen to someone else ?

Today I was able to create tracking accounts. Everything is In progress. Waiting game starts again.

Is there a way to check the status of all 3 application in my group at one place instead of logging in individually ?
