Hi Guys,
We are a family of 3. We applied via paper application on 17th Oct.
Application received 21st Oct
We received the entire application back as we missed one document. As per the instructions we sent the entire application back with the missing document on 13th Jan, document received on 17th Jan.
Does anyone have an idea what happens in this scenario? Like will we counted in the Jan batch or October batch? And usually how much delay happens to such cases?

You will be in January batch. Your previous return doesn't give you credit unfortunately. After applying in Jan, you again will have to wait for AOR. Your application should get processed as usual

Finally got our AOR today, received separate emails for each family member.
Not sure what caused the delay. The only thing that comes to mind is that we used Canada Post to send the application. I guess it was a mistake not to use courier.. Any thoughts on that?

Doubt it. We had used CanadaPost, delivered 21st Oct and AOR on 17th Jan.

We used CanadaPost, too, and we had no delay.

Okay, those of us who received their OARs this month, how long should we expect the rest of the process to take? When can we realistically expect the citizenship test to take place? Is there a chance of becoming citizens by the end of this year?

Everything goes through case processing center in Sydney by default , even the application that you mail goes here
Not exactly the office that will be processing your file here onwards ( after AOR )

Hi i got my AOR yesterday. I applied on paper on Oct. How can i link my account to track the status? I tried to register to some link, but it keeps saying my UCI or Application number is incorrect and would not let me register. Any help from you ppl would be appreciated. Thanks
