ECAS and online applications

Hi folks
Has anyone who applied online (outland) been able to see their status on ECAS? Or am I being dense?

Yes, it should be possible. Just make sure you're entering the correct details (DOB, name and application number/UCI/etc).

I swear I have been, tried with both UCI and application number for both me and the wife (sponsor) and nothing ...... most annoying!

Hehe, no you're not. The system is quite frustrating.
I had to do it a few times before it was able to work. I applied inland with a paper application, then went on to link the application to an online account.

I've managed to get GCKey to work, but have gleaned from here that you get more updates on ECAS like decision made, etc. So would very much like to get that to work.
Tried various combinations and so far all return the dreaded 'application not found' screen.....
