Congrats on the approval of your application. .;)

Do you mind me asking you some questions?

1) When your application change to IN PROCESS January 2021, did you update IRCC about the change in circumstance OR updated information and document BEFORE it was approved?

2) How do you send them an update? via email, post, or fax? ( should in case you updated IRCC)

3) what month did you send them the update between when your application was IN PROCESS and when it got approved.?...... do you think the update had some impact on influencing the approval of your application?

I ask these questions because one of my family that lives in Canada. He is a Canadian citizen. we bear the same surname. I am considering getting a support letter from him and his ID to "further" prove my ties to Canada.....Also, I asked myself the best time to update IRCC.......

PLEASE NOTE: my application is IN PROCESS since the 14th of December 2021. IRCC officer contacted me about 2 weeks ago via email to sign one of the h&c forms because I forgot to sign it. I have done it tho

Your response is highly appreciated!

1- We sent documents to update our file in February.

The update includes my children‘a latest report sheet, letter from my office and my husband’s to show that we worked throughout the pandemic, photos of my kids activities in church and latest bank statement.

2- My lawyer sent them using epost account.

3- Last update was in February and AIP was in April.

Yes every useful document helps.
It is important to send in useful documents as you need to proof your continuous contribution, integration and ties to Canada.

The officer will not know if you did not send the necessary documents.

So, You can send the letter alongside other useful documents.

Wishing you best of luck.
