Oh i see.. i thought the application status on that profile will change from "in progress" to "Decision made" . Mine was paper application so i do have access to ECAS. and Yess, it does say DECISION MADE. It doesn't say anything else though even if i click on it (Decision made button), there's no further details.

Thanks @rememberme for letting me know though. I was also confused as to what else will have to be completed in order to get "Decision made" status.

Looks like they're trying to get application processed within 12 months.

Great! Good to increase all of our understanding of this process. Excel updated accordingly. And it does seem that way... there seems to be a big push to have decision mades and oaths scheduled in January 2022 for the January 2021 applications who have already passed their citizenship test, with many of them being paper applications the past few days. Lots of updates I've been making recently. Very excited for all of you guys... hoping that will encourage them to at least give us a citizenship invite before our one year anniversary for the rest of us January 2021 stranglers.

Finally scheduled for Oath. Logged into my tracker today and saw an update from yesterday that I have ceremony on the 25th of January!

Congrats! I've updated you in the tracker. Thanks for sharing your timeline. Could you please share where you applied from / what office was processing your application? As well if it was just a single application vs a family application (# apps?). As well, do you know a) the date when everything except oath was marked complete or b) the date on the oath ceremony invitation letter?

Yeah bud! I really hope that henceforth everyone's applications moves more swiftly and at least get to a stage where you all get test invitations.

I also had a little suggestion for our excel sheet. Now that quite a few of us are getting citizenship Ceremonies scheduled; Can we please change the font colors for "citizenship ceremony section" to black or dark blue? It will be easier to read the dates and info. Because yellow background and white fonts makes it pretty hard to read, or is it just me!?

And a little typo correction for my profile. It says i got test completed update on Dec 12th. It should be Dec 21st.

All section complete December 2021.
January 6 Ghost update but no change at all.
My online tracker got updated again today and I have been scheduled to take oath on January 25 2022 . My local visa office is Vancouver

Write a comment on the cell which needs to be fixed and the Sheet owner would fix it. Someone sorted out the sheet but messed a formula or two on the way.

Can somebody please provide some feedback.

Applicant 1 mother: background and test show as completed . Prohibition , language and physical presence show as In progress.
Ecas: decision made-status changed recently.

Applicant 2 child: background completed. Prohibition, language and physical presence show as in progress. Citizenship test not started.
Was under 18 at the time of papers signed and delivered . Turned 18 half way through the process of the papers.
Ecas: in progress

question: Is ecas a ghost update for applicant 1 and will it change back to in progress?
if indeed it is decision made, when does applicant 2 change to completed status and decision made status?

should the applicants get ready for the oath?

For those, who got test invite, does it come over email or regular mail? There was no update on my application in last nine months after background complete.

You'll receive emails (they sent me multiple emails to make sure i read it, i even responded to their email saying "i will complete the rest as soon as i can" because they kept sending the exact same email 3-4 times until i replied) plus your application tracker will say citizenship test in process/we are waiting for you to complete your test.
