Hi, Do you know based on what they decide on which office to send applications to? I thought all H&C applications go to Vancouver office, am a bit confused . . Appreciate your response here. Thanks.
No VANCOUVER Office is the one to received all application for Humanitarian case then they will decide which office your application they will send through just like Montreal, Niagara, Mississauga, Toronto they transfer it for redistribution as Vancouver process PRRA and Humanitarian Case so this office is so busy. However the other Office also busy as they received also many applications from Vancouver.

i do not know how Vancouver office decide which office they will send your application. I have no idea about it in which circumstances makes them decide to transfer or to process it still in Vancouver.

my application before was process in Vancouver Office then I got AIP in Vancouver after a day Vancouver office decided to transfer it to Niagara Falls.

however many application Vancouver received after AOR they send it immediately to different office for redistribution. Again I dont know how they decide what office will be.

also Vancouver and Niagara I heard this office issued more approval rate than any other office.

Thank you so much for your prompt response/ clarification.
I got AOR in May 2021 and In process in Sep.2021, when I call or check online it says in process but it doesn’t say the office.
I’ll check with my lawyer if can find out.
Thanks again.

The only way to know the office is asking for GCMS notes.

I thought only Canadians or PR holders can order it.

My advice to you is to be patient, ircc have delays that’s why the processing time is in between 18-36months you can be approve earlier if you’re lucky (every case is different), from now till May 2022 if no news then apply for notes but it’s up to you the decision is yours and also I would advice you to let your lawyer know so that you don’t contradict information that may affect the decision of your application

I was tagged by @wello711 to assist on what you need to do next!....

The first thing I will say is NOT to be in fear. don't panic. Fear is oftentimes one of the reason people make a lot of mistakes and in some cases, run into the hand of lawyers that will eventually SCAM you of your hard-earned money!

The advice I will write has worked for me. I also gave similar advice to other members in the forum and it worked for them. there is a member by the profile name @tony4454 who was refused and I told him how he can request a copy of the refusal letter from IRCC. It worked.

First and foremost. do you mind me asking if you use a lawyer and do you mind me asking if you trust your lawyer beyond 100%? Is the lawyer reliable?
I ask this question because MOST lawyers are NOT usually honest and not reliable. MOST will only take your application because they WANT YOUR MONEY regardless of the outcome of your h&c application. The pandemic has even made it worst. they are using clients as a CASH COW.

My first advice is NOT to depend so much on the use of a lawyer. There are some things you will need to have the balls to do by yourself if you are serious about increasing the success rate of your application.

Now, here is what you need to do :

1)
Request for a copy of the refusal letter from IRCC: If you use your personal email as a means of communication between yourself and IRCC in your refused application, use the SAME email to request a copy of a refusal letter for your application. I assure you, they will email you the refusal letter in less than 24hrs as soon as they receive your email. THIS SERVICE IS FREE

PLEASE NOTE:
Ensure you include your full name, h&c application number, and UCI number in the email. this will make it easy for them to locate your files so that they can email you a copy of your refusal letter

Secondly, if possible; avoid using a lawyer to request the copy. they will scam you !... How ? they would not let you know how to request a copy. they will make it look like it is a complicated process. They use that will milk your hard-earned money till your account is zero!

2) When they email you a copy of your refusal letter, carefully take your time to read all the reasons they listed on why they refused your application. Try to make sure you understand all the reasons. Your understanding of all the reasons will give you an idea of what to do or documents/evidence you need to provide to counter all the reasons listed.

3) Seek the opinions of other people on how best to counter each of the reasons listed in the refusal letter. I will suggest you use people in this forum because most people in this forum are "experts".. we all did our application by ourselves and there has been a high success rate from every member in this forum. People will give you their HONEST opinion on what you can when you ask.

4) Once you now understood all the reasons for your refusal and how to counter them all, I will suggest you consider putting in a NEW h&c application. You should use this application to address all the reasons why you were refused in your first application. ensure you back it up with STRONG ARGUMENT BACKED WITH EVIDENCE.....when you submit your application the new immigration officer will mostly be interested looking to see if you have addressed those reasons.ALSO, SHOULD IN CASE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE HAS CHANGED, PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF IT TO UPDATE THEM IN THE NEW APPLICATION

PLEASE NOTE:
If you are very confident in yourself and you have very good writing skills, i will suggest you do the NEW application yourself. you know your life and immigration story than a lawyer... if there is anything you are not sure about when working on your new application, seek an opinion from members in this forum.

VERY IMPORTANT YOU KNOW THIS: Submitting a new H&C application has a higher success rate than putting in an application for Judicial Review(JR). Most lawyers will recommend a JR because it's a way for them to make fast money. I have NEVER seen anybody that has gone through JR and got this application approved.JR is just a waste of time. To add more salt to injury, the pandemic has made it worst. You can wait endlessly for the court date for your case
Very valuable advice, well articulated issues before submission of new H and C application

Average processing time as reported in IRCC site is 20 months for complete applications in the last year.
