Hi no I don’t have any minor children. I was 18 years old when I came to Canada I am 28 now .
In that case you just have to hope that CBSA doesn't make the move to remove you from Canada within the next 12 months. If you can last the 12 months without being removed, then you can apply under H&C.

I just can’t imagine being deported I spent my teenage years here I grew up here I don’t have an accent my English is fluent . I speak like any other born Canadian . I can’t go back there nothing for me to go back too . Also I have couple questions !
Q1) can I still work right now ? My work permit is still valid !
Q2 )is Canadian government still sending back failed refugees even in Covid ?
Q3 ) can the immigration minister help me ?

1) You can work as long as your work permit is valid. However you won't be able to extend your work permit if it expires. If you manage to make it a year without being removed and are able to apply under H&C, you'll be able to apply for a work permit under H&C once you have first stage approval. It varies from case to case, but sometimes there's quite a long wait for first stage approval (over a year).
2) Yes.
3) No, the immigration minister won't intervene.

I'm not 100% sure. I think this is a bit of a timing question. If the appeal has been refused then I believe the work permit should be refused as well. However it's possible your work permit application could have already passed this check-point and maybe there's some chance it could be approved.

Wait for others to comment on this question who have more direct experience / knowledge.

Your work permit will always be renewed as long as you show them you have a steady job. As I am a fail refugees too and when both my claim refused. They told me once I am showing am working, and keeping the peace as well as obeying CBSA I am good. A lawyer once told me to hide and try marriage but I did not. But again. I have Canadian Children.
NO to question 3
YES to question 2

Hi thanks for your information
my question is why would they renew your work permit when they know your refugee claim has been denied ?
also did they renewed your work permit because you have Canadian born children?
what was your procedure like ?if you don’t mind to share ?

what happened after your federal appeal was denied ? Did cbsa get a hold of you ? Or you lived the whole 12 months after it denied to apply for H&C ?

So will my work permit get extended even after a negative decision from the court ???

As you are failed refugee once working you still can apply work permit. For me I have children didn’t have to wait 12 months bar. So I prepared my H&C application; well my lawyer did at that time. And CBSA at that point was not deporting immigrant because of Covid so the officer told me they will call me once they need update. They didn’t call until I was able to apply PRRA.
