Congratulations! Which country is your mother in right now if I may ask? Can you share the Visa office from which decision was rolled out? This information will be on the Biometric validity letter

Bangladesh. Applied online though for her from Canada. Biometrics was done 3 years ago so she didnt have to do it again

Biometrics: 15 Sep - Pune India
Reapplied: 9 Oct
PPR: 11 Jan 2022

Aww, Congratulations and I am also sailing in the same boat, but I have a due date in March, Hoping for my mom to get Visa so that she can be with me.

Yes, along with US visa too. It is super easy if you have visited either USA or Canada before, no need to show funding or anything. Only most recent passport and a form.

I didnt see any review started email. Biometrics was done 3 years ago. So this was more of a renewal visa application.

Correct, new portal for Visitor Visa.

1st set of applications were entered on 8th Dec and PPR received on 16th Dec.
2nd set of applications were entered on 17th Dec and PPR received on 31st Dec.

please what did you do differently? I applied on the 22nd, Biometrics completed on 29th till date yet to receive PPR. Applied for hubby in Canada
