any news of FSW-O getting PPR mail from SGVO? they should be at least sending out PPRs to Expired COPRs by now like other VOs. No idea on what they are working on currently!

Medicals and biometric updated on sept 16.

Current processing time for study permit is 14 weeks for applicants outside Canada.

Should take 14 weeks. The time given on the IRCC website is based on historic data. Plus, most 2021 study permits at SGVO was approved only after 3 months+

I personally know an applicant from Malaysia who got the study permit approved in about 6 weeks back in Jun/Jul 2021. Not sure if it’s increased drastically since then or what, but the impression I got was the biometrics part was the holdup.

I just found out that my application is being processed at the Singapore Visa office. I have tried to reach them through the CSE. Any ideas how long it takes to get PPR?

Yup, the reason is that his case is handled directly by IRCC Head Quarter , not transfer into the local visa office SGVO.

Hi, is your friend been transfer from Singapore to Halifax office ? Did he email or do something to request the transfering ?

My case was super slow in Singapore office, it has been 16 months since I submitted my PR application. So stressful.

Anyone know how to or what email address that we can ask to transfer our file to Canada Office ?
