Hi,
So I got an invitation to take the test in December, which I took and passed. On the tracker, the test's status has been complete since Dec 31; however, I never got an email advising me to take the test. I only found out by logging into the portal. Is that normal?

They do send you a Notice to appear for an online test. I think you didn't wait for the email and gave the test on your own, isn't it? Not sure if there is an issue with that, because if the system lets you in and the status is updated to complete, you should be good.

I did not get a single email from immigration Canada after AOR, which was at the end of August. I took the test 5 days after the window opened, so it is not like I rushed to take it... They just never sent the email. My background and test are currently complete. Everything else is in process, while the ceremony hasn't started yet. I guess I should expect some movement around March if the current trend continues.

They just never sent the email. My background and test are currently complete. Everything else is in process, while the ceremony hasn't started yet. As long as you see the progress in your application, there is nothing to worry about. Good luck.

Yes I did, They ask for my passport copy in Important Notice Section. It was right after the test instructions.

Ohhk, did your invitation come in from Niagara Falls? It appears to me that this office missed to update the important notice section

Hey thats good to know. Can you please paste the text of Important notice section here(If you are comfortable)? If not, can you tell what documents are requested and is it the same email listed everywhere in the letter, that they want the documents sent to?

Hi April Applicants,
I passed my test on Dec 18th and it was updated to completed, I was also asked to submit a passport copy which I missed in the excitement of the exam and sent it after a week of update. since then nothing changed. I don't get any fp request as yet as so many of you mentioned. Any clue guys? How do you which is your processing office? I am from Cambridge,Ontario btw. Thanks.

Is your BG completed? BG is still in progress here and no FP request yet.

Same for me, only test is updated to complete everything else is in progress. I don't get any FP request either. I do send a web form today to ask if they received my passport copy which I sent. Hopefully, they gonna answer.

Thanks for sharing this - it's important to keep an eye on the Tracker too instead of just waiting for their email. This is good to know, thanks again.

I also got the test invite from Niagra Falls office and i have the same wordings but there is nothing in important notice except test instructions.

In order for IRCC to continue the process of your citizenship application, scanned copies or photos of all passport(s) and travel document(s) pages held during your eligibility period are required. If you do not have a passport or a travel document, please provide an explanation. You must provide a colour copy of each page, including blank pages.

Thank you for sharing! Was this required on the status tracker website as well? Or was it only in the letter?
