Hello everyone, I have received letter from CIC Mississauga office asking for additional information on Dec 8th,

- Details of Govt Service
- Proof of relationship for my parents. ( Voter ID and Aadhaar card.

We applied for spelling correction on Aadhaar card for my dad and able to download the E-Aadhaar, Can someone please confirm whether I can submit E-Aadhaar document.

Hi,

I submitted an application to sponsor my mom for a PR. Her application was sent to the Mexico Visa office since October 2021 and we haven't heard from them since then.

She has a tourist visa that will expire in 3 years from now and was wondering if she can come and live with us while she waits to hear from the visa office?

What are the implications? Can she send her passport from Canada to the visa office and ask to send the passport plus the landing papers back to Canada?

Or will she be required to go back to her home country to do this?

My mom is with me for many years now in Canada with a Super visa and extensions. Sometimes they have asked for meds not a biggie get them done and you’ll get your extension approve. Her documents were sent to Mexico VO as well, unfortunately they are very very slooow. We are applicant from June 2019. And just recently in Nov got request for additional documents. So hang in tight, be patient and have faith. It will come.

My mom got her CoPR and her passport stamped with the immigrant visa last week! Thank you for all the guidance this group has provided throughout the time period the application was being processed.

Did anyone had an experience where the city of destination is different from the city where their parents have landed and got their PR cards? I have moved to a different province this year and my mom's CoPR mentions my previous address. Do I send a web form letting IRCC of the move and they will send me a new CoPR with updated city of destination? Not sure how that works! Any guidance will be much appreciated!

i just noticed that the letter for biometrics and medical are both with our address here in Canada while my mom is in the Philippines, is it really like that?

We sent documents in June 10, 2019and they asked for additional documents on Nov 22nd, 2021. ( IME, PCC, Background Declaration Form, Additional Family Form and divorce certificate.)

Parents can get benefits like OAS provided they have fulfilled residency requirements.
