I'm very confused at this point you know. I know my career will take a big hit if I go to Canada and I could get red taped any day. Canada already wasted my 6 years and could waste even more now if I don't take my POF and go somewhere in the EU. But spending many years in the good ol FSW atmosphere, I still have that (now misplaced) sense of security and certainty with EE so I can't just say fuck it and turn to EU. What a time to be an immigrant...
You could apply for a job seeker visa and look for jobs in Germany that don't require German at the workplace and start learning the language.

Just applying to jobs (globally actually) for now. Job seeker visa would be a bit too much for me right now and I sadly don't have time for studying German now. That's my "maintenance" plan because I'm still giving Canada 3 months until March. If by then I'm convinced the country has gone to even more shit then I'll use my POF and probably go back to school in EU. There's a degree I wanna get anyway so it would make sense.

What's the MEP queue
MEP = Medical exam passed. That's the initial stage of your app along with R10 (completeness check). MEP would take people 6 weeks to get, but there's been a MEP backlog. It used to be up to 5 months, but now it is down to 3 months. Basically, you won't hear a single word about your app in the next 3 months. If your app fails R10, you don't get an ADR but you get rejected. That horror used to last 6 weeks but now lasts 3 months is what I'm saying.

When I was submitting the application it asked us for the upload of your medical if we do not have them then the prove that we have booked them. We had to choose the second option as I thought that we will be asked to do medicals later on :) so I am not too sure if something has changed or not?

The completeness check was changed sometime back, you are required to submit medicals with your application otherwise there is a chance it will be returned as incomplete, you didn't submit your medicals?

Nothing has changed. You'll give your medical exam at a later date and it will be processed later then. By the time IRCC picks up your medical report the MEP queue should be shorter (hopefully) so you might get lucky.

Really? Proof of medical exam appointment should be fine afaik.

No offense to you @dankboi I heard British are not very welcoming to foreigners, yesterday also an uber driver a vietnamese guy told me he won't prefer britain ,I dont have a y personal experience, we have a travel vlog in my language and that guy is pretty good and he knows his stuff he said Britain is one of the few places he got into trouble with.one of my distant relative is settled in Britain he was a victim of a hate crime but that was 10 years ago don't know the exact incident, but he is a prick that is another story. I personally feel not only Britain any other country other than US,Canada,Australia (an exception) people don't like foreigners- I meant they will be more acceptable and easy to blend in .at the end of the day it is all about human nature .
I have heard from many in Britain even if you have skills you can rise only up to a limit (full EU) not only Britain but US if you have skills and papers sky is your limit (the only thing you need here is persistence and a bit of luck)
Again this is only based on what I heard ,I dont have any personal experience with brits or british systems.
Never start off "no offence" , we been seeing ircc and federal government of canada doing things to applicants and prospective applicants so nothing feels offending anymore.
A few people are always an issue, i have never been a victim until today, most situations arise when some native gets provoked by the multiple similar actions of a foreigner from a specific country, the native won't be displaying hate at the first sight of the action but after seeing it for a few times. I have asked a lot of folks who been racists, mostly women when we are chilling in the pubs, pubs are where most people openly talks and share something even with strangers, Some foreigners tends to display something that's too native to their own country which provokes the brits, Considering brits, the native English, the countryside folks, they are more hooligans than we thought and I like that far more than the packed up and living in a hole natives in london.
A fam from the british countryside is more fun than the londoners. Go to the countryside, visit a home as a stranger, they'll even give you a room for a couple of days when they know you are from far away, i have had lived with many families here in the England, whereas no doors will open in the london neighbourhood when some stranger is at the door except the royal mail / delivery fellas.

This is exactly what it was stated but we will upload them in the next 2-3 weeks so it should be fine. Otherwise they would not request us to upload either this or this.

Your file won't even be looked at in the next 2-3 weeks so all good. You're good if you showed proof of appointment. You're a lazyass for not going for an upfront medical though...
