Hi guys,
I am a PR holder and I’m about to submit for Outland sponsorship. I know it’s a very stupid question, but is there some sort of statistic or approval rate for spousal sponsorships? Does it 100% go through if the case is clear and easy?

No, it's not 100%. Sometimes people who think they have a clear and easy case are still refused.

PR applications always require biometrics. But they are by process requested after the file is submitted (after ack of receipt, basically).

During covid government has waived biometrics for those that have submitted recently.

Should be soon or in early Jan if outland

For paper outland, it seems like IRCC just started sending AOR 1 for Oct. applications.
For paper inland, it seems like IRCC is sending AOR 1 for Jul. applications.

It’s a fairly new process, there’s not a lot of evidence to show whether it’s a ‘better’ process nor even faster.
It’s still in the testing phase and because of this it has proven to be a little more complicated as there are certain aspects that are trickier to submit.
If you search through the tracking tool you’ll see a lot of people have used the online option and are moving through the process.

Called ircc at 8am, 2 times, both times they couldn't transfer the call to an agent, reason being high volume of calls.

What an incompetent agency, prioritizing others and not the people living inside canada.
