I applied to renew my PR card on Jan 2020, it was approved and sent the Hamilton office as they said I needed to pick it up. But I had to wait for an appointment.
Then covid started and everything was delayed, then add Afghanistan to the mix and now its nearly two years since I applied..
I had contacted IRCC numerous times, by phone as well as webform, but to no avail. Then I got the MP for my area to contact them multiple times and the message back is always: Covid and Afghanistan and that I needed to wait for an appointment.
What more can I do? is there an authority that overlooks IRCC that I can complain to? would having an immigration lawyer follow up for me make a difference?
