Dependent Canadian child on Principle Applicant medical

Hi,
I am the sponsor for my husband. We just received request for medical for him and our daughter. She is Canadian born, and carries a Canadian passport which was sent in with the application.
has anyone else ran into this issue, does she actually need a medical?

She does not need a medical. You should inform IRCC, either by webform or whatever other contact.

One thing to check: did you include the daughter on the IMM0008 form as dependent? if so, you should revise that form and resubmit it (also by webform) with a short letter of explanation of mistake.

(If you read the imm0008 instructions carefully, it says citizens and PRs should not be included on that form - they can't apply to be PRs)
