Certified Military Records Requested

i submited the application and provided all the information and details that was requested, my parents got medical forms and i thought its all good now, just a day ago i got an email and the officer asked to submit A CERTIFIED COPY OR MILITARY RECORDS with same details as i already provided to them under the form; and the shocking is that i have to submit it in just 5 days which i dont understand why

can anyone update about this A CERTIFIED MILITARY RECORDS ? is that the same form that i already sent or it is different than that ?

any help would be greatly appriciated

i think i provided all the info which i was seeking help. do you know what is Military Records: A certified copy of Military records is, my father was a vet and after all the application went though today they ask for this, i did send his military service record in the form provided in an application package. so i am not sure what does that Military Records: A certified copy of Military records. means

Again, please provide the exact text. Because you are providing very inexact text.

Why is it important? Because you've used two very different terms. - 'certified military records' in title of this thread, and just now 'certified copy of military records.'

That's why I was asking, and why it gets important: when you provided the copies of the military records, were they certified copies?

Certified copies basically means with the stamp and statement of a notary that they are 'true copies.'

To me, it seems that this is what IRCC is asking for. Take the orginals to a notary and get them certified and submit. (If in a foreign language, you'l need to get this and also certified translation - as with any other official docs.)

Thankyou mate for your help; when i was submitting the application i submitted the form 5546e for details of military service and then i got another letter and now they are asking to fill and send the same form attached and provide the Military Records: A certified copy of Military records. they also mentioned that "When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable." so i am totaly confused about a certified military records

If they have asked for the certified copy, send certified copy. If they ask for originals, notarised or certified copies are not acceptable.

Is a military discharge letter the same as a military record? If you can shared where/which country did he serve at, may be some members can find out if there is something else you can get from the military of that country.

You weren't clear on what exactly did you send? I only saw that you filled in the form. This is the first post that you mentioned of a military discharge letter.

I presume that military record would mean something like a military service letter (or possibly a discharge letter if it had the detail they want). Each country would likely have some standard form. But right up front, I'm not a military person and won't be able to say what it was.

the military discharge letter is a just information about the person that he worked from this to this date and now he is discharge and will take benefits thats it.

they have a form that i already sent them with his each duty station and other information i am not also sure what does that certified copies means,

Do you have anything at all?

I would suggest first, looking for what the country of origin does for military records, but get anything you can to start with. Does your parent have anything at all right now? Discharge papers? Service record?

use what you have if you have anything.

I give up. Have already explained several times what a certified copy is. YOu're concentrating on the wrong thing.

You need an original of something before being able to send a certified copy. You need a service record. Figure that out first.
