So happy!! Today I received an email from VO Mexico requesting for additional documents!! Timeframe is 30 days!! Finally we have some news!! Application is from June 10,2019.

Keep waiting patiently and don’t loose faith.

Well said! The application will be processed even though it is slowed by COVID-19.
What documents they asked?

Please advise, today I uploaded requested documents, but GC KEY still showing a message "Your action is required " is it going to update in couple days ?
On a last page I got a message that documents were successfully transmitted.

That "Your action is required" is a default message.

@Roya-FSW did you receive a new medical request?
We received a new request. To my comment why we got it after PPR, they said the visa will be through the end of January, so it's up to us to receive visa through Jan or re-do medicals and receive visa through the end of November 2022. We decided to redo and get more time.

No nothing yet! If I get PPR though. I will stick to their old medical and have my parents land before their first medical is expired.
My parents medical was passed on Feb. 1 2021 so they have about two months left...
I'm just praying to receive PPR soon. It's been really frustrating

I am also in the same boat as you. I don't have a relationship proof with my mother other than the Passport. Were you able to figure out any solutions. Did IRCC accepted your documents?

Hi, I am so sorry for not responding. I didnt see the message till now
For proof of relationship docs, i just prepared a explanation letter with all the supporting documents like my passprt, 10th cert et which shows father'sname and my mother's docs ( like passport which shows my father's name), which can prove the relationship directly and indirectly. I also put my mother's LIC policies. bank account details where she put my name in nomination details. They was accepted ad we have been moved to next steps.

My father did his second medical here in Toronto. The first medical in 2019 in India was cleared. In 2nd medical, he got a furtherance to do CT scan of his lungs, now the doctor says he might get another furtherance. My parents are here on visitor visa since April. My father's visitor visa is dependant on medical clearance, so he has implied status now. So, both applications are stuck, don't know how long it will take.

My father got another furtherance this month. This is a requirement for x-ray and sputum test. Hope this time round his medical gets cleared.

Can u guide on how to prepare package for couriers.i mean both passport in one envolope or different envolope for each,as PPR is addressed to my father n doesn't contain name or UCI for my mother.also they asked abt height n colour of eye's where to mention it.

My parents have been asked to submit the passport but the details are not clear whether they have to send it by courier or ho in person, if in person do they have to take appointment .their closest VFS centre is Chandigarh.. any clarification would help

Is there anyway to check the status or follow up the application process, except the online status check, for parents sponsorship? It has been more than 29 month for my application and also haven't heard anything back since I provide them updated document in beginning of September, so really want to find if there a way to check.

Now's days only option to submit passport is through two way courier.just fill two way courier webform in VFS website n rest follow instructions received in emails from VFS. Their r tons of videos on youtube for details.
