Hi Guys,
I have a slightly off topic query here.
I have applied for my father's supervisa in Oct and his application is still under processing.
My father live in Hyderabad (the address in the passport is our residence in hyderabad) and he has done medical and biometrics in Hyderabad.

He will be travelling to a different city in North India and will stay there for 3 months.
My query is that if the passport submit request comes during this time, can he use pick up and drop passport service from a different city other than hyderabad.
OR do you think that he has to travel back to hyderabad and then submit the passport submission form to get the passport pick up and drop and hyderabad address.

For one day, I didn't check application status! There's a PPR letter!.


- Date of Application Submitted/AOR: Oct 05 2021 (GC Key)
- Biometric Requested: Oct 06 2021
- Biometric Submitted: Oct 13 2021
- Biometric Updated in Portal: Oct 13 2021
- Medical Requested or Date of Upfront Medicals: Upfront - October 2021

- Medical Completed: Upfront
- Medical Passed: Nov 15th 2021
- Additional Information (if any): no
- Passport Request (PPR) Date: Nov 15th 2021
- Visa Office (if known): New Delhi (India) I think. BVL has Ottawa's address.

Interesting, Passport request was the first letter we got and then in 4 hours, the BVL letter was posted.

All the best everyone, I think India is moving applications now. One thing I did was sent a webform last week as I was thinking of reapplying using the new portal. What I said was, there's a lot of confusion in where to apply and asked if I should reapply using the new portal.

Hello. BVL and PPR received on the Nov 11z My mom mailed in her passport and got a call today saying her biometrics need to be redone. No correspondence from gckey. Does this ever happen? Just making sure this is not a scam.

Biometrics: were already done 2 years ago
Medical request: Nov 04, 2021
Medical done: Nov 07,2021
Medical passed: Nov 14, 2021
PPR request and BVL: Nov 16, 2021

After the instruction from IRCC, did you apply again via new portal?

I am applying fresh application and not sure from where to apply GC key or new portal.

Hi All,
My mother applied for Super Visa 13 days ago online. 4 days ago she got a Schengen visa issued from French embassy. She had no any visa in her current passport by the time she applied, but she has 4 Schengen visas in her old passport and she attached that scans to show her good travel history. Would it damage anything if she upload again current passport with the newly obtained visa?

I think it’s not required, old scans will be fine alone. It should not be damaging either because she got visa issued later.

No, this is not the case. Anyone can apply through new portal. I applied last month and already got the PPR.

I reapplied my moms super visa via new portal and she got it approved. You may try reapplying if you want to process urgently.

Mother super visa timeline:
applied on July 8th
Biometrics submitted on August 16th - profile not updated
Raised a webform on August 22nd for covid 19 exemption
Received mail response on Sept 10th
Received re submission of biometrics request Oct 3rd
Re submitted biometrics - Nov 16th
Biometrics updated on the profile - Nov 17th
We haven't done upfront medical. Any idea, when we can expect a request for medical from IRCC? is there anything else we can do here regarding medicals apart from waiting for IRCC request?

Applied Super Visa for my mother in law 20th December 2020 (GC Key)
COR : Bangladesh
Boimetric : 5th January 2021
Medical Done : 25th September 2021 (Upfront)
Medical Passed : 27th September 2021
Raise priority web form : 22th October 2021
no progress till now..... no reply .... already 18 business days gone...
should i re-apply(New Portal) or raise another general web form or wait for there response....

My mom's supervisa application timeline is as follows:

Submitted: February 28,2020 (1st application (GCKey)
Biometrics Requested: March 3, 2020
Biometrics Submitted: December 9, 2020 (due to biometrics suspension due to Covid-19)

Medical done: June 20,2021 (for TRV extension)
Medical Passed: July 7, 2021

2nd Application: October 2, 2021 (GCKey - 1st application withdrawn automatically)
Medical Passed: November 10, 2021 (same medical reports from TRV extension used so considered upfront)
BVL: November 16,2021
