Photograph requirements for EE

@Peacekeeper87 hi. I submitted my passport yesterday at the VFS and I used the same digital passport that I uploaded for my application. The digital passport was dated 8th of October 2018. Is this ok as it is still within the 6months validity? It should be valid till 8th of April..

Thanks for your reply. The specs of the photo that was sent with the PPR email said 50 by 70mm. Which is the same one I used for my application and scanned.

As said by @kuskus , you should wake up every day thankful that your application wasn't rejected/canceled for wrong photo format.
The digital photo format is 35x45mm for eAPR, and for PPR is 50x70mm.
You applied with the wrong format. You didn't properly read the instructions in the photo upload section, and mistakenly followed the instructions on the PDF.

Hey guys,
I really don't understand how to create this photo and in what format. Do I just take a photo with a digital camera? Like with my phone? 35X45? How do I know what is the size? On each screen it is different... How do I know the pixel sizes and the pixels per Inch?

He did everything right. 50x70 is the right format for EE.
The instruction you are posting clearly says AT LEAST 35x45 and The physical dimensions in pixels must be AT LEAST 420 x 540.

Stop scaring people mate.

I'm started to get a little worried that, I submitted 50 * 70 mm photos while uploading the Photos. According to the wordings (it says AT LEAST), it will be OK.

But still a little worried. Experts here can suggest and guide.

Mine is approved. I got My PR. No need to worry.

Awesome. Thank you so much sir. Can you pls share estimated timelines (eCoPR and then PR) and did you have to send the physical photos of 50*70 for the PR card or that came automatically?

No Physical photo. We need to upload the digital photo on the portal site.
