August 2021 - Citizenship Applicants

I applied online on Aug-19, no AOR yet.

Seems like CIC is processing applications received until mid of August. First it processed the online applications and now the paper applications. Stay tight and be ready for lots of wait and patience in the whole process, the lengthy journey has just started.

Got my AOR yesterday 11/2. My file would have reached 8/17 +/- 2days, can't remember. Not sure what happens next. More waiting?
P.S - finally opened and read the attachment. Made an account to check status. Let the fun begin !

Hi, From what I understood it means when you can log in and check your application status on their website - In process - ie. they are reviewing the application.

From what I gathered, there's two websites to check status.
1. https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
This site, when I login shows "Your citizenship application status: In progress"
2. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas
This site shows "Citizenship Application Status: Application Received"

not sure if the second site should be changed to "In Process" too.. to consider be in process ecas?

@Fake Pasha When I called IRCC they told me ECAS is true status because that is what reflects GCMS . For eg on my old application Prohib is in progress on new tracker but on gcms and ecas its not started. Application received on old ecas means its in review not yet sent to the local office.

But i tried to track with the old system, it says they cant find my application. with the new system it is IN PROGRESS

I am having the same issue. I received my AOR and I cannot see anything about my application neither in new tracker nor in old tracker. So I called them and they said nothing has started regarding my application. It seems our applications are still being reviewed and once sent to local office you might see them on the old tracker. I got my AOR on Oct 20 and u got urs on Oct 21 , from AOR TO IP varies according to offices. The new tracker status is "Not True" unless it turns green . My dates differ completely in old ecas and new tracker.

The old ECAS system works for paper applications only... For online application you have to review your application on https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login

Nop Fake Pasha , IRCC client support told me u can try old ecas for new application which is online app. The only thing about new tracker is that it is only meant for 1 application thats why they say if you applied on paper do not apply online or vice versa.
