Thats the default message these days. I have the same. Its called False IP2 message around here. It basically means nothing has appened on your BCG till now.

Yes when I called the customer service number, she told all document already viewed by the officer and they are checking the background.

Is this normal no update yet, it's been exactly 40 days now.

Question 1:
Is it correct to assume that IRCC has

1. accepted that we couldn't get the medicals yet
2. put our application on hold until the medical results have been submitted?

Or is there a chance that our documents will still be processed in the meantime, e. g. eligibility check?

1. When was the last time you folks did a medical? It *may* be the case the IRCC will pickup your medical without you ever mentioning it. I have seen it happen for few TR to PR folks. That said, if you have appointment, just get the medical done.

2. All will come down to your R10 check. With this new medical policy, it is hard to say when and how IRCC passes R10 for applications.

In my case, no BIL or even UCI updater after 35 days. IRCC being IRCC at its best!

I think I just got my eCOPR portal email from this address "IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca"

The email subject is:
"IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal – E00XXXXXXX"

In the email it says:

"Welcome to the Permanent Resident Confirmation portal process. The attached PDF contains information and instructions regarding the confirmation portal process for your review. Once you have review the document, hit reply to send the requested information outline in the document."

In the attached PDF it says:

"Your application for permanent residence has been approved. The final step in processing your application is to confirm your permanent residence and create your permanent resident card. You’ll complete this process through the Permanent Resident Portal (PR Confirmation)... "

Timeline:

AOR: September 10th
Upfront Medical passed: October 16th
Ghost Update: October 27th

I got an email with my portal credentials today!!! That's roughly 2 business days since I got the first email quoted above asking for my information

We hadn't done a medical, before. Both of us had received our work and study permits without having to do a medical.

What do you mean by "new medical policy"? We're not aware of any changes. Since you obviously know a lot about this process: could you give a few hints, please?
