My oath is scheduled for 9th November and I live in Quebec. But will be moving to NB on 1st November. Is it going to affect my oath?

I imagine a lot of people have to travel for potentially more than two weeks while our applications are taking almost two years so it'd be interesting to understand if this is an issue or not. I intend travelling in December before my employer takes back the vacation time I've earned (so I'm forced to use it or lose it) and have over 5 weeks accumulated during COVID and imagine many are in the same situation.

Okay then I won't call them and mine is almost 2 weeks anyways, it is so annoying, my application is reaching 1.5 years and not test invitation!

Do they ask for a new address at the oath where to send the citizenship certificate? Do you know?

What a luck! The problem is that sometimes they send the email invitation a few days before the ceremony. So, you won't really know when the ceremony is in advance with enough time to take actions. Can you reschedule the exam 1 or 2 days before the exam? Also, is taking the oath a valid reason to reschedule a final exam? I don't know the rules.

Bad luck. What are the chances of having a final exam and the ceremony of the same day? It should be very small, yet it happened to you

There is a good news that they have scheduled Jan 4th for my oath ceremony on Sept 18th. But, I haven't received yet my official email from local office. Still waiting for there letter. Although, I called immigration"s help line and they told me to wait and I will get the letter or email three to two weeks before the date.
By the way, kindly update my date in the list. Thanks

I was looking at this thread and some people are putting "Passport Request Letter"... what is that specifically? we did our test May 31st and we have not heard anything since.. I am wondering if maybe we should have uploaded something and we did not...

Some people get passport pages request letter (usually after the test for those who applied before June 2021) to scan and email or make colored photocopies and mail all pages of the all passport during the eligibility period. If they select you to send your passport(s) pages, they will send you an email. Not all applicants receive the request.

Just noticed that my language , prohibitions and physical presence are shown completed in the same update (background and test already were completed). I understand oath ceremony is the next step. What should i expect in terms of the timeline ? Any ideas please? (and I know nothing can be said with certainty )

Long back my oath ceremony was scheduled for 16th feb.22. Since then, everyone else is getting oath ceremony date for Nov and Dec.....why?

I thought yours was rescheduled. But that’s terrible. Your should be reschedule unless it’s based on the local processing centre.
