Online citizenship application starting August 2021

This is a much efficient way to deal with applications. In the short run though, I doubt it would have an immediate impact on the processing time since there’s such a huge backlog right now with paper applications. That being said, and assuming they would increase officers count in the mid-term, I can foresee processing time going down to 12-months or less 4-6 years down the road.

You are certainly looking ahead very far, for, given the information in your signature, you have not even obtained your PR yet.

Seems like people are not that exited lol. I am, as a new PR, for me, it will improve the process to get citizenship :)
