Hello @legalfalcon
I am FSW-O applicant and as per the latest GCMS notes I got my application is approved and waiting the PPR.
I got married recently.

-1- Should I tell IRCC about my marriage?
-2- Will my CRS score will be affected due to the marriage?
-3- What documents shall I submit to IRCC rightaway?
-4- Can my wife be included in my PR application and get the Canadian PR as well?

Best regards

Hello @legalfalcon

I submitted my application for ICT work permit on 28 sep 2021 by online from india.
In the application i forgot to mention my earlier USA businss visa refusal.
Later on 11th oct i raised a webform/cse to mention about my visa refusal.
Now i have got reply on 19th oct mentioning that my request has been recieved at migration service unit , india.
Do i need to do anything else to update my information about USA visa refusal.
what next steps i can take.

Does GCMS notes have the raised webforms information as well?

Best Regards

Not sure what the question is. Can you elaborate.
Someone said they applied for about 3yrs and 2month, and you said "If you applied in 2018, your case is s fit one for mandamus."
Now am asking what can we do since I also applied since Nov 2018 and AOR is Feb 2019?

I'm sure you are good concerning the visa refusal. Dont sweat it too much. most important thing is what you've been advised to do. Goodluck.

Hi Legalfalcon,
I got my ecopr in aug-2021 but my outland spouse didn't receive her copr and her name never reflected on my gc key. I got married in april-2021 and submitted my spouse documents and forms on may-04-2021 and received acknowledgement email. Recently I have received my gcms notes where I can see my spouse documents has been received.
below is the status in gcms:
May-12-2021 Add-on spouse documents received, officer ready recommend pass
May-18-2021 Location:OVS DEP
Aug-20-2021 Location: finalized

What is the best step I can take further to get ppr request for my spouse? I have contacted ircc through calls and webforms but no proper response.

Thanks in advance!!

1. YEs, you have to inform IRCC has as soon as your family composition changes.

2. No.

3. Just info IRCC that your family composition has changed you will be sent a list of document that you have to provide.

4. Yes, after you inform IRCC, your wife will be added, processed and when the PPR is issued, it will be for both of you.

You do not have to do anything else as long as you have informed IRCC.

The GCMS notes will have an incoming section where any correspondence sent by you will be recorded.

Hi @legalfalcon, I want to apply under CEC, with the job noc 6331 fishmonger
6331 NOC link
, I've received my employment letter however I am not sure if it qualifies under that NOC. Here is the screenshot of my employment letter [ Link to employment letter screenshot ], do you think it qualifies? Thank you in advance!!!

I cannot review letters. The rule is that the JDs listed on your work reference letter should substantially match the JDs of the NOC selected. As long as your have that, you should be fine.

Hello again @legalfalcon
-1- Thanks for your response. What if my wife don't want to become a Canadian PR. What shall I do in this case? Or is it mandatory for my wife to apply for the Canadian PR?

-2- Let's say she got it, should we land both of us at the same time?

Thanks a lot!!

If your spouse does not want to become a PR, you still have to submit your spouse's documents. All family members have to be processed for criminality, medicals and security irrespective of whether they are accompanying or not. When you submit the documents you can inform IRCC that your spouse is non-accompanying.

YEs, you can enter Canada only with a COPR and passport. However, you cannot take any commercial vehicle such as a bus, plane etc. You can drive in your private car or walk across.

There is no risk, you will be asked to report to the secondary office and after verification of your PR status, you will be allowed to enter.

Hi @legalfalcon

I’m currently in Canada waiting for my PR card. I already have my e-CoPR provided by the PR confirmation portal.

I have a trip to mexico next friday but I still don’t have my PR card. I was thinking on changing my return flight so that I fly from mexico to Buffalo and then I drive to the Canada-US border. So, I was wondering if I return to canada by the Canada-US border with only my passport and e-CoPR, would I have any problems? I just want to make sure I can come back to Canada.

Thank you so much, any help would be greatly appreciated!
