Urgent ProcessingWhat do you mean by UP applicant?
nothingAnyone heard from the Mississauga office in the past few days?
Thank you very much for the info. Will these be emailed or by regular mail? I made the scans and print copies today so when they are asked I can submit. All pages, and you need to translate ay stamps that are not in French or English, if you want to be ready if they ask for PP.
Where did they mention that? I wouldn't notify them as your trip is obviously a short and temp trip, with an address in Canada, I assume, during the trip.I am waiting for my citizenship test and planning to travel outside Canada Dec15 to Dec30, should I call CIC and let them know as they mentioned we have to call them if we are going outside Canada for more that two weeks?
We have similar timeline, I applied on July 7th 2020, however, 4 months after DM I still haven’t received oath invitation, cryCitizenship oath activity status updated on Oct 18, 2021
Scheduled for Citizenship oath on on November 4, 2021.
Citizenship Application
Local Office: Montreal
Application Sent: 4 July 2020
Application Received: 23 July 2020
Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR): 5 January 2021
Application started processing: 23 January 2021
Test date: 25 June 2021
What a luck! The problem is that sometimes they send the email invitation a few days before the ceremony. So, you won't really know when the ceremony is in advance with enough time to take actions. Can you reschedule the exam 1 or 2 days before the exam? Also, is taking the oath a valid reason to reschedule a final exam? I don't know the rules.my oath is Dec 10 (still haven't received any correspondence re: time yet)
I will have a final exam is 3 pm that day.
Do you guys think I should reschedule that exam? Or I will be okay?
I imagine a lot of people have to travel for potentially more than two weeks while our applications are taking almost two years so it'd be interesting to understand if this is an issue or not. I intend travelling in December before my employer takes back the vacation time I've earned (so I'm forced to use it or lose it) and have over 5 weeks accumulated during COVID and imagine many are in the same situation.here:
