No Slot Available at VFS Biometric Centres in India for Parents Visitor Visa.. Any Solution ?

Hi All,

Yesterday I applied for parents visitor visa through the new IRCC portal. Today we received the Biometric collection letter. The deadline to provide biometrics in Nov 23. But Alas there is no slot available in VFS centres in India for next two months using their online system. Are you all facing the same situation ? What to do at this point ?

A lot of spot available in Dhaka VSF office, you can try there. To my understanding you can use any VSF location.

But my parents are in India. They don't have a Bangladesh visa to visit Dhaka now. What to do ?

I thought of writing to the IRCC through their webform to inform them that we are unable to book appointments in time. But the IRCC webform first question is "Is your application handled by an Office in or Outside Canada". My parents visitor visa application was just submitted yesterday. They are from India. How do I know which office handles their applications at this stage ?

Agree, so the way is to get it from a consultant who helps you to get a slot. I also got for my parents from him.

Interesting, so the consultant is booking and holding up spots. Is the consultant charging a fee for this? I think they are. SAD
