What is your Background check status? Is it changed from processing to progress?

My AOR Aug 18. BG is processing from 1st Oct. No updates.

I got a call from 18882422100 that looks like a IRCC but scammers doing call by changing the caller ID

Please don’t give any personal info on these type of fraud calls.

She gave her name and ID number first that this call is from IRCC .it was looking legit at first when she said your PR file is stuck due to background check.she said, I have not submitted my home address using the form RC325 (that is actually a CRA form to change the address ) when i moved to another city.Now,this would needs to update on call to officer and needs to submit apology to officer for not submitting the address and then your background check will complete.she was also asking about the money that i showed but IRCC never ask any fund to show for the CEC program.

Please ignore these types of calls and never give any personal information especially bank details.IRCC always send the emails for filling any form.

17th Aug 2021-Submitted all Documents and Fees
17th Aug 2021-AOR
16th Sept 2021- BIL
17th Sept 2021- Go for Biometrics and CIC updated right away
27th Sept 2021- Medical Passed (Used Old Medical From 2019 for PGWP)
11th Oct 2021- GU1 (Background check changed from we are processing to In Progress status)

Thank you for letting me know. Please keep updated if you got anything. I submitted my Biometrics on 19 Aug and medical passed on 18 august. After that nothing changed so far.

Do I need to submit anything to ircc after completing my medical? They sent me a request to do my medicals as I sent them my old medical from 2017 when I submitted my application i’m guessing they couldn’t use it anymore so they asked for a new one.

What that form says? Does it ask you to take it to doctor who will then give you the medical sheet?
If that happens, I think you will need to submit all IME sheets having new UMIs to IRCC via webform.

I believe so, that sheet should be having your IME # and it should be linked to your UCI. Once you submit it, call the IRCC to verify if they have recieved the results.

@legalfalcon please sir, tell us if I have missed something as this matter is important.
