Has any mississauga applicant contacted MP for delayed oath? If yes, what was the reply? Is it worth contacting MP?

Has anyone seen any movement on applications from Mississauga office in terms of Oath ceremony?

Two days ago I got an update and received an invitation for Oath for November 5.
Things are moving!

I did - they ended up just helping to look up my application through the eCAS system that Members of Parliament and Senators have, only to tell me what I already knew from my eCAS lmao.

Having said that though, less than a week after I sent a reply expressing my disappointment to the minister, I did get an update and my application specifically picked up a lot of pace since then. I'm unsure about whether it was having an MP look into my file that resulted in this turnaround or if it was just sheer coincidence. I even had my first test invalidated (due to a lack of webcam) but I received a new invite about 3 weeks later for a new test.
imagine that my application, in which all of my children are included, is 2016. (This is almost five years) Ottawa office was requested to intervene. Ottawa office said the matter is forwarded to Mississauga office. Imagine what was the response of Mississauga office. It was "The application is on queue to be reviewed by an officer. We will contact the client to tell him what the next step is." IRCC have no moral problem in putting 2016 application in the same queue with 2020 applications.

That is sad - which part of the world did you emigrate from to come to Canada? Perhaps that or a massive clerical screwup has a hand to play with the processing of your application. Have your ATIP notes (I'm assuming you've requested these numerous times by now) provided any indicator to tell you what's going on?

When was your decision made and if possible a timeline please?
