Urgent Processing - Citizenship Application (Lets meet here )

Anyone here applied for UP in the couple weeks and got a response? Just curious

It takes at least 3 weeks to get a response from the Web form team and then another indefinite time to get a response from the local office.

Hello, I applied for citizenship two years ago and recently changed job, New job requires me to travel to the US to meet customers.

I haven't disclosed I am not able to go to US (I need a visa, and it will be hard to get, especially if I say thatI have work-related trip)

I sent the request for urgent processing because I am genuinely scared to be fired becauseI can't to my job. They will never say that they fire me because of not being citizen, they can say not performing well and not meeting quota.

I don't have any proof to submit, I just said little more that I said here.

Do you think they will approve my urgent processing? It's been already 2 years since I am waiting.

Why not get a B1/B2 visa? This should be good for your business trip.

Hi All, on the IRCC website, there is instruction on how to indicate urgent processing request via paper application, you write it on the mailed package. I would like to submit my application online and not via paper. Those of you who have applied online, I am wondering where you have mentioned that your application was urgent when you submitted your online application?

I just checked the tracker & its been updated today (Oct 18th) with test invite. The window to take the is Oct 21-Nov7th. I think this is due to the Urgent Processing request I sent them on October 8th. My office is Scarborough.
AOR Aug 17th, Background already completed on Oct 4th.

I think the transition timeline to Oath should be soon now. Any guesses guys?

Seems your urgent request is approved. if so then it should get finished with 2+ weeks of your test.

Anyone applied for UP multiple times? I did twice, but I think it didn't work again. I have a very good reason where many call centre agents agreed - I don't know why it's not being accepted. Death in family & can't get a passport & can't travel to neighboring countries with a Canadian travel document.

I did apply 4 times; they responded to the 4th submission. Keep trying

Seems your urgent request is approved. if so then it should get finished with 2+ weeks of your test.

DO you mean till I get the Oath invite? So I won't be getting an invite in March/Feb from Scarborough office as my UP is approved?. I'm assuming its UP accepted as lot of folks from Feb/March have not gotten test invites despite waiting longer than me.

My UP is approved since Sep 17th and still no oath! last update yesterday everything went to completed and I can see DM in ECAS
